Building on the development work of initial 2.5 year National Lottery funding for Worthing, West Sussex, we have been awarded a 3 year extension for our work in Worthing and the new area of Adur in West Sussex.

‍This integral funding means we can provide a range of services enabling us to positively support older people experiencing loneliness and our community volunteers. Our service in Adur and Worthing includes:

Telephone befriending.

Face to face befriending.

Group befriending.

Signposting.

Volunteer training and peer support.

Resources.

We are truly thankful to the National Lottery for their ongoing support helping us to overcome loneliness experienced by so many older people living in the area.
